THE MUSEUM TELLS THE STORY OF THE CITY OF GLASGOW POLICE (1800 – 1975) BY DISPLAYING ARTEFACTS AND OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST CONCERNING THE FORCE HISTORY.  TEXT BOARDS EXPLAIN THE DEVELOPMENT OF BRITAIN'S OLDEST POLICE FORCE WITH STORIES AND IMAGES.

THE SPREAD OF THE PREVENATIVE POLICING CONCEPT AROUND THE WORLD IS THE MAIN THEME OF THE INTERNATIONAL DISPLAYS OF UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA FROM EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
