MERCHANT CITY FESTIVAL 2009 PULLS RECORD CROWDS!
A big thanks to everyone who visited the Merchant City over the weekend. The festival has truly come of age - enjoying its busiest weekend ever!
The parade was a great success and thousands of people enjoyed the bands and carnival atmosphere in the streets of Glasgow.
Many venues in the Merchant City enjoyed sell out shows. Kevin Bridges kicked off the weekend's proceedings with his sell out show on the opening night of the festival at the Old Fruitmarket.
WILDWORKS' The Memory Projector was also a smash hit and was sold out for the entire weekend.
The Seagulls went down a treat with audiences and were the most photographed act of the weekend!
Thanks to all who came along - see you next year!
