Vintage 'Great Gatsby' 1920's Fashion Show

36 looks capturing the 1920s will hit the runway with pieces from spring/summer and autumn winter 2013 House Of Fraser stock with live music from Lou Hickey.

House of Fraser was founded 1849 in Glasgow. The man responsible for turning it into the brand we recognise today was Hugh Fraser the 3rd - the real life Jay Gatsby.  Made managing director at the tender age of 21 in the roaring Twenties he became chairman by 1927 after his father’s death. He married Kathleen Hutcheon, a Daisy Buchanan figure, The Lady of the House. The show will encapsulate this booming bygone era using Frasers stock styled in the Jazz Age. Opening live performance from Jazz singer Lou Hickey.
